How to Jump Start Another Car Quickly

The only things you'll need other than jumper cables to safely start another car is safety glasses and gloves. Bring the running car to the nose of the car with a dead battery, then turn off the engine. Make sure the car lights are off as well. Open both hoods, and begin to attach the jumper cables.

The red cable ends go to positive terminals, but you have to make sure you attach to the good battery first. With the black cables, one to the negative side of the good running battery, then you can attach the last clamp to a metal surface anywhere on your car being jumped. Now it's safe to start the one car. After a few minutes, try to start the other car.

If the car battery is still giving you trouble, come to Savannah Fiat so we can give it a load test or replace your car battery if needed.
